We help prepare the departure process for one of the partners in advance. We create repayment scenarios, duty handover, and market communication. Thanks to this, the company does not lose value at the moment of change of management.
Emotions aside, we count the facts
Partner separation doesn't have to be the end of the company, provided you approach it technically. At Corporate Bridge, we know that the worst decisions are made on impulse over morning coffee. If one of you wants to leave, you need hard data and a cool head. Numbers have no emotions, so our process starts with an operational audit, which usually takes us 11 business days. We check what realistically belongs to the company and what is just a promise of profit.
Three financial settlement paths
We prepare concrete repayment scenarios that will not bleed the company dry. We don't look for magic sums – if the company has 320k PLN in liquid cash, we won't propose a million repayment in one tranche. Instead, we build a model based on installments, share in future profit, or exchange of shares for specific assets like machines or real estate. In 2023, we conducted 14 such processes in Warsaw and Poznań, where each side left with a clear financial plan for the next 18 months.
(Honestly, the first week is always the hardest when you have to put all the cards on the table and stop hiding costs).
Technical handover (47 control points)
Exit Plan is not just a transfer to an account. It is a long list of procedures that must change hands. We have prepared an original list of 47 control points – from bank account and CRM system passwords to powers of attorney for key suppliers. In one of our recent projects from May 2024, the transfer of operational knowledge would have taken 9 weeks, but thanks to prior planning we closed the process in 23 days without stopping production.
Protecting the company image before the market
The market is afraid of board changes, and employees even more. Business must keep running, so we design communication for your 12 or 15 most important clients. We prepare ready scripts for talks and emails you send on a specific day and hour. The point is for suppliers and recipients to learn about the changes from you, not from rumors in the hallway. This allows maintaining contracts you built over the last 8 years.
Schedule and cooperation costs
A clean table means clear financial rules from the first minute. We charge a flat fee for preparing a full Exit Plan, the amount of which you know before signing the contract with us. We do not take a percentage of the negotiated repayment amount because that would spoil our neutrality. You receive the first draft of the exit strategy from us 19 days after providing accounting documents. Without burning bridges and without unnecessary delay in court.
